Tire rubbing tie rod end
#6
but seems hard for it to be bent as the tie rod attaches to a solid arm which is part of the die cast hub assembly
seems it would actually break off before bending, and then he would have no steering at all, so must be oversize wheels and yeah spacers would help [but might overstress the wheel bolts]
besides with mine there is only about half inch at most extra thread to play with

Just a tad oversized superswamper tires, but only the right side rub. I previously replaced all the tie rod ends both inside and out, checked to toe-out and adjusted.
Solution was to put longer wheel studs and 5 washers between the wheel and tire on the right side. She's good as new and dont' rub me wrong no more.... also can't tell any difference in the ride or handling.... cheap fix.
