Would a Polaris Predator 90 be too large ?
Would a Polaris Predator 90 be too large a bike for my just-turning 7 year old?
It is a couple inches higher in seat height than the SUNL Minis I have been looking at, and 100 lbs heavier.....he seems to JUST fit the SUNL sized bike right now.....
Would the Predator be too large?
Thanks in advance...

Would a Polaris Predator 90 be too large ?
I bought my 7 year old a Sportsman 90(same machine, different plastic) and he fits it fine and rides it fine. I took the jumpers out of the ignition and he still handles it fine. It is a great learner quad and has plenty of zip and power for trails, track, mud etc.... Good luck!

This is good news!
I found one for $1100...2004.....they say its in great shape....good deal?
Also....I was really set on a 4 stroke.....these are 2 stroke....is this oil injected or what??
Are there downsodes or upsides to 2 vs 4 stroke for a kids quad??
Thanks for the help!

the 2 strokes have a much more abrupt power delivery than the 4 strokes, the big question is does the 7 yr old have a younger sibling to hand down a 50 cc to? I started all my kids out on a 50 cc, and let them grow into the bigger ones. The 4 strokes would be more adaptable to trail conditions, but we have put some miles on our 50 cc 2 stroke trail riding, just wasn't ideal according to the kids.
