wondering about first oil change..do i have to use dealer oil and filter? does anyone have link to K&N type filter to use also :0)

According to the manual, you don't have to use Polaris Oil, any oil with the SH API rating will do. You don't have to worry about car oil vs. motorcycle oil in the case of this Polaris because the crankcase and clutch/ transmission are separated.
As far as the filter, you might want to use the factory one until the warranty runs out. If you decide to use the K&N, I included a link below to the one you need.
