Default rear brake line/extended swing arm

3 weeks ago i ordered a +2.5" swingarm from dennis...after he told me it'd only take a week and a half i have yet to see it..im not impressed..but anyways, my old swingarm is destroyed so i can't use it to compare, and i want to be ready to install the new swingarm when it finally comes. Will i have 2.5" of extra brake line in the rear, or will i need to buy new lines to reach the caliper mount with. Also, besides needing more chain, is there goign to be any other obsticles when trying to mount the swingarm, or are there just these two. I dont want any surprise headaches thanks guys

Default rear brake line/extended swing arm

I believe I read somewhere that you dont have to extend the line for brake, I believe it will work. I forgot how far out you can go but I think it was 2.5, any over and you have to extend. I got a 4inch extended from ebay and just had to weld in a 2x2x1/4 inch square steel tubing to relocate the shock so I didnt have to buy an extended shock. I havnt installed it yet but i do need a extended brake line. Hope this helps, Nothing else should cause any problems that I know of, Check for enough clearence on the shock spring where the rear from bar goes across. Good luck, Brian
