Installing a winch
#2
follow the polaris instructions NOT the warn instructions. everything is pre-wired. you just need to put your winch on, cut the wire boot and attach the wires to the solinoid, mount your solinoid and attach the winch wires in the back to the battery. then run your switch. read the instructions a few times and let it sink in, it'll be ALOT easier that way. i threw my instructions out and did what i thought would be good. i did everything righ (expert lego builder ) but it took me about 6 hours on a cold november night. haha

I did mine in about a half hour and never did one before....still got my wife's to put on but she keeps saying wait don't need it yet ...I think she likes the look of the sp 450 with the plastic insert in.........I only used mine twice so far ...each time was to pull a Kawi 360 4x4 out when the rear axle gets hung up.......caper..........
