Default 250 Trailblazer, engine filled with gas

My float must have stuck and allowed gas to completely fill my cylinder. I removed the exhaust pipe and drained the gas by lifting the rear end up. After much effort I did get it to run.
Do I need to be concerned with the raw gas that drained down into the crankcase - it's all out now, but???

Generally it's a good idea after something like this to drain and replace the oil. You can remove the dipstick if it has one and check the level to see if it is higher due to fuel introduction and/or smell the oil to see if it is contaminated but for the relatively small cost why not change it just to be sure.

why would you change the oil? its a 2stroke not a 4, oil injection. your needle and seat probably is bad or is gunked up. clean the carb, there is a drain screw/bolt on the bottom of your engine, to get all your gas out take that out. it is a 10mm with a phillips head screw built in. Take it out but when you put it back in dont tighten it too tight as they break pretty easily. Hope this helps, Brian
