I just got a 2001 Trail Boss at an auction tonight.
They said it needed a new sprocket on the front.
When I got it home, I looked at it, and the problem is (I hope) the chain is really loose.
How do you tighten the chain on this bike??
Do you move the plastic chain guide under the swing arm??
Is it done like my buddy's Outlaw??
Any help would be great.

yes, should be similar to the outlaw........just loosen the 2 rear bolts(about 4" long)......on the back of the swing arm.....then stick a screwdriver in the hole.....and push it forwards or backwards, until it tightens up.....then tighten the bolts back, and possibly torque them(or tighten pretty tight).......
