Maintenance on a 96 Sport 400L
How do I know how many miles/hours are on it. I have no idea and also have no clue on how to maintain it and what I need to check. Any help would be great. Oil, Brakes, How many oils are in it? and where are they...except for the obvious one on the front.

Best advice is to buy a service manual and read it .
Clymer makes a good one for your 400L.
Not to be a smart *** but it will pay for its self 100X over.
