My buddy has a 03 predator he just bought. He's been having some problems. The problem he would be driving and it would just bog out. then we would let it sit for a while and it would start up perfect. every four days it would do this. Any suggestions will help.

Need some more info...is the motor at operating temp when it "bogs"..or how about some fresh gas..maybe the floats are sticking..maybe your valves need to be adjusted. Hard to describe with just the info you provided.

Cover all the basics first..fresh gas..clean your air filter. Revove the float bowl and clean it..take your jets out and make sure the passages are not clogged. Check the spark plug..the tip should be brown paper bag color..or darker..any lighter you are running a tad lean. Black and sooty you are way rich. we'll cover that later.

 

He has been driveing it for awile when it bogs. So it would be at operating temp when it bogs. All have to ask him about the other stuff.

Your running out of fuel try jetting up or moving the clip on the carb.
