DS 250 VS 250 tb

I was wondering how the DS 250 stacks up VS the 250 tb, I saw one with my
dad at a farm days show that a guy was riding around on this past weekend,
things like power & speed, ride & handling. I saw that it was auto trans too.

I would guess that in stock form they are pretty equal. The TB has a few more horsepower but weighs a few pounds more. The TB also has more suspenion travel. The DS is liquid cooled 4 stroke and the TB is air cooled 2 stroke. It would be hard to predict what would require more maintenance. The TB has a ton more modifications that can be done to it if you get bored of the performance. I own a 2006 TB and love it. I considered the DS and the Kymco/DVX 250. The DS is made by Sym in Taiwan and the Kymco is Korean. I like the Kymco/DVX better than the DS. The selling point on the TB for me was the fact is is American made and it has a single lever brake and full floor boards.

I was hoping that the motor was rotax, it is not what I would want now. I
will stay with my 250tb. I am not in to the taiwan quads. polaris will most
likely come out with a replacement for the tb, hopefully not a taiwan quad.

The only reason I mentioned the zook and honda is because of their reliability. They are auto clutches too. Easy to learn. Most others in this catagory a basically junk. The trailblazer is good too but it is gone for 2007. Maybe an 06 left over? Very big and stable machine too.

They are ok but they sound dumb and they are to light I would recommend it to a step up from a 90 or 125 it sits to low from the ground and it gets stuck about any ware don?t buy these if you want something for your money.
