Default preditor carburetor jets

I have purchaced a new muffler and air intake. The worthless instructions say I need to replace the jets but not how to do it. I have never been in a carb. before and would like to see some specific instructions on what to do and how to adjust it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

your going to have to buy a jetkit and do it yourself or take your bike to your stealership and have them do it. the screws on the top of the carb are really difficult to get out the first time. your going to need a Impact Driver to get them out to access the Air Needle. then your gonna need to take the carb completely out of the bike to flip it upside down and take the bottom of the carburator off to get to the Main Jet inbetween the float bowls. your gonna need to take that out and put in a larger jet. depending of how free flowing your intake setup is (please specify) and how high of performance your exhuast is (please specify) then your going to have to put it all back together and drill out a brass plug that covers up your Air/Fuel mixture screw so you can adjust that.

unless you do it perfectly the first time, your going to have to do this a couple times to get your jetting right. if you want to go through the extra effort to check your spark plug color to make sure your not running too rich or too lean, it should be paper bag brown.

then you'll be all done
