I am looking at a used 700. I caN only test it on the road. I want to make sure the AWD works? I flipped the switch and it lighted up. Does that mean it's allset?

 

Try and drive it over the wifes car, if the rear tires spin its not working, If it preferes the on top position and the all wheel drive is working

If the little 4 wheel drive light is on that means is suppose to be working

 

Get on some pavement or grass and spin out. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] YOu will be able to tell.

 

IF the front end get harder to turn that's a good sign that the front is engaging. It will mot lock in until the rear wheels spin. YOu can also put it up on jack stands to test.

 

Jack up the rear and give it a little gas, it should move the bike

 

put it in awd and try backing up fast it should be able to spin the back tires if its not working. make sure to push the override button.
