Clutch Kits
#1
Ok, in another post I had started we got into differences on clutch kits from Hot Seat, HPD and RCR. I was told that in RCR's stage 1 kit, you only get a new primary spring vs. the primary and secondary springs, weights, and helix that you get from HPD or Hot Seat.
My question - How much do you gain with the Hot Seat / HPD kit? I've had some people tell me that the primary spring is what matters the most and that the secondary, weights and helix are often the same as stock. Is that off base?

HPD sent me a sheet w/ some new products. They now have a 500 sp EBS kit if thats any help SWAC.
As far as the kits go, you'll get the most out of the aggressive clutch kit ($140) which includes the split cut helix. If your gonna dig into the secondary, be sure to check out your buttons. If they look pretty rough, toss them and replace them w/ either the stock ones or the HPD SS button kit.
Personally, I have no experience w/ HOt SEat. This is b/c 7 out of 10 things I read/hear about them is not positive.
Good luck.
