Just bought another Polaris. Got this one from a contractor that returned from overseas. He did not have books for it and was not sure of the model year, can anyone help with identification or is there a link to lookup, I have searched the web but no luck.

I know it is a Polaris 700 but unsure of the year.

Serial # 2202082 S.B. ATV 680 02

thats not a good ser no. look on tag either on fron plastis or inside right front wheelwell or its stamped on left side of frame. 10th digit is year model

I checked but bad news the 10th digit is hard to see, it is either one of the two below

4XACH68M74A061482 (tenth might be a "4")

or

4XACH68M71A061482 (tenth digit might be a "1")

Are the last 5 digits the serial number, and if so can I use them in some way to determine the year.

Lastly, I looked on the Polaris site and I can not find a manual for a "2001 700", was there one that year???

The 700 only came out in 02'

 

i would say you have an 04 as there was no 700 in 01

 

rouge i just ran your ser no and here is my findings production date 09/04/03 sold date 12/11/03 sold to 101st airborne division fort campbell ky.. this is a military issue atv model no is AO4CH68MB HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
