Hey, xlr8tion read this!

I just saw the '07 again and looked at the fuses for you. Seems that the fuses I saw were spares molded into the "lid area" that covers the radiator cap, simular to the older ones, but this one is very water tight. I lifted it up and saw the fuse box underneath. It was rotated 90 degrees and the fuses were facing forward.
I didn't know if you got your situation resolved, so I wanted to get with you about this.
Also this radiator access panel is soft rubber instead of hard plastic like mine. I think it wil fit in mine too. If so we can get in t make it more water tight and have the integrated spare fuse holder.

Thanks for looking at that. What we did on the 05 with the 07 box was to disconnect the fuseblock from the top of the rail and rotate it 90 degrees laying it on top of the same rail with the fuses pointed forward and siliconed it to the rail. This gave us the clearance necessary from that new rubber cover you referred to. We took it out for a quick spin with all the new parts and it ran fine. We had no water on this short trip to put it through to test the watertightness of the box but we noticed no dust intrusion at all with it as compared to the 05 box which was minimal but present. Next stop an unsuspecting creek--I know ---> a water hose would do but what is the fun in that? Thanks again for checking that. Did you put the 28's on and if so how did it work?

They just came in today. I will pick them up when the water pump is finished, which should have been today as well, maybe tomorrow. Can't wait. I feel like a kid waitng for Christmas!

I picked them today. They need mounted on the rims and installed on the quad. I jumped the gun a little in my signature, but what the heck. I had 14.5 inches of ground clearance with the 27's. I I figure I should get 15" with the 28's. I may ned to lengthen my studs as I have read on this forum. These rims are much thicker at them mounting area. Have to wait until I get home tonight to see!
