800 cv boots, too thin
i have run my '04 700 for about 2200km and have never torn a cv boot. my '07 800 tore the rear boot after 3km, figured it was just bad luck. my buddy bought the same bike a week later and today he tore the same rear boot. after looking at the boots on my '04 and the '07, the '07 seems to be thinner, this sucks, i asked my dealer about it and he said they should be the same boot. i will be ordering some a-arm protectors in the morning and we will see how they work. just wanted to get this post out there, see if any one else is tearing boots.

Look into the Gorilla boots, I have heard that they are thicker. I plan on them when I have boot issues!
I like the stock axles, They seem to be descent for stock. Of course Gorilla is better. I called Gorilla one time just to check prices and availabilty. She told me she ALWAYS has PLENTY of Sportsman axles. They hardly ever sell. Yamaha on the other hand, is often out of stock. This tells me the stock ones are holding up much better than the other quads.
