I put Ranger springs on the back. They are a little shorter, but they have less sag. With these springs in the rear, I have 14" of ground clearance at the rear hitch plate, with stock wheels.
I put the stock rears in the front. I had to flip the springs upside down, because the fron shocktowers are larger in diameter. The stock spring cup will not keep the spring centered, it is too smal in diameter. I had a set of the rubber spring helpers for atv's laying around, so I used them at the top of the shock body to keep the spring from rubbing the shock absorber. I have 27.2 miles with this setup. I LOVE it. I hammered the qaud hard in the mud pits wih 27" Mudzilla's and nothing broke. I ran it harder than I ever have, I wanted to see if i would be okay before I headed down the long trail into the forrest Everything was good, until I took on water in the oil. That is a different story These yield me 13.5 Ground cleaance at the front skid plate with stock wheels!
These PXT's have some sag in them, but the 28" Mudzilla's that I just bought will not have near as much. So, I expect over 15" of GC when I get around to mounting them up! I had to order the longer studs, they just came in today!
