Anybody bought an 07 500 X2 yet?
I picked mine up last weekend...it's my first atv, and so far I love it!
I understand that they fixed the seat issue that seemed to be such a problem last year.
I was at the dealer again this afternoon (you know...now I have to add some toys to it), and today they had one of the limited edition ones in metallic red with the aluminum wheels, etc.
I was kind of thinking I should have waited and bought that one instead, but it's like almost $1,000 more than the "regular" one I bought.
Now, if I could just find a back bumper or something for it...I think my only complaint is that there's this HUGE open space under the back dump box, and I'd like to put something there.
Anybody find any rear bumper or brushguard yet?

Hey all, I got my X2 at Christmas. For the most part it has ran great. I'm 51 so I know how to be gentle with mechanical things. Power was lacking until breakin progressed. Considering it weighs almost 800 Lbs. It has plenty of power even with two riders. Unfortunately I let my idiot son ride it and he blew out my rear wheel drive by jumping three feet off the ground( probably with the throttle pegged).
Haven't had repairs done yet so no idea what broke. Over all it has been great in mud and snow. Just got rear storage saddle bags for $100.00. Should be great arm rests for woman. I also bought snaps online to connect front storage bags. These work awesome. 30 seconds to add or remove bags. You need "Studs w/screw" and standard "sockets and posts w/ caps". Google "Snaps" and you'll find them at a fabrick supply house. Got a Glacier I plow system. Seconds to mount or remove. Best money ever spent. I haven't pick up a shovel since. My neighbors love me. Only thing I don't care for is that to engage all wheel drive in reverse you have to push the yellow botton on left grip which also disengages the rev limiter. This can be difficult to do if you have to get off the atv when stuck in snow or mud. Holding the button down while gassing it while standing next to it can prove awkward. Over all an awesome ride. Good luck.
