whats it worth? 05 700 EFI sportsman limited earnhardt
Hi,
I need some help on wether to get this four wheeler. The dealer said, "it has 1300 miles, and no problems". No warranty either. $5500
There are never any used Sportsman's around here. I'm not crazy about it being RED, chrome rims, and having NASCAR stuff all over it. Are there any other options other than the obvious?
Do you expect any other problems to happen, no warranty kinda worries me a bit. I have never owned a four wheeler so I'm not sure what to expect. Some of my friends have them and know how to work on them, and say not to get a Polaris.
But I dont like anything else, plus they always say what they dont own suck.
Any help would be much appreciated

Sounds ok. I would offer $5100, but who knows, I might be totally wrong. BTW, if anyone says the new polaris quads suck are not being objective. I used to be that way, but the last few years, polaris sportsman have made several strides for quality improvment and they are great quads now. And, that is someone who has been kawie loyal. When I finally looked at all the major quad manufactures over the last 4 years, they all make good quads. Usually when people complain about a quad they bought, it is either because they didn't buy what they wanted for their needs/wants or they might have got a lemon, which all manufactures have. Welcome to the real world. But, in my book, just because something is a good buy doesn't mean you need to buy it. If it doesn't work for your applications, then I would wait. It is like a friend of mine about 5 years ago when we went to the Houston fishing/boat show. We split apart for about 30 minutes while we looked at different stuff. When we met back up, he said he found an awesome buy on some computer tide chart software, so he bought it. I asked him why he bought it and he said it was just such a good buy. However, the goober didn't even have a computer at the time.........thus, not a good buy. Can you say, Gomer Pile????/ LOL
Anyway, if it fits you needs/wants, good luck.

Yep 700 EFI Sportsman.
(2) Green and black and a Camo are available. I think they have red and blue, but that really isnt a option for me.
Alot of country here is Tribal, so more of a darker color will blend in with the forest when you wander into it.
Cant wait, my friend across the street traded his Kow-a-suky praire yesterday for a 2007 700 EFI, and he loves it. Night and day he says.
I can hear him now going up and down the road now, were about 100 yards to dirt, then that goes either way 100 miles +.
