I wonder why the 800 x2 has smaller tires ,25"s and the regular 800 EFI has 26"s You would think the x2 would need the larger tires to carry two people;;
Also the back rim is 10" compared to 12 for the other ATV..what do you think

 

maybe to give it a lower center of gravity for safety w/ 2 people. i dont undersatnd why they went back to 10" rims though unless they got a bunch they want to get rid of. maybe a litle more side wall flex for a better ride.

That could be..The tires are the same size I have on my stock 2002 SP 500.Anyone know what brand they are ?

 

on my o2 500 i had the good year raw hides, but mine was a limited edtion. i beleave they were titian 489.

 

If it helps at all, I have ITP 489s on my machine. Work great for me in the rocks and clay/soil mud here in New England. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

They actually still run a 12" rear wheel, must be a typo. As to why the 489? It's probably cheaper.
