Default New Polaris 800 Limited Edition Stealth

Hi!

Just picked up my new Polaris 800 EFI Sportman STEALTH Limited Edition.
Each dealership is to get a maximum of 2 each of the Limited Edition Stealth.
This one will stay in the city for riding around the city perimiter fields, roads etc...
Also , I plan to dirve it in the snow and may even get a Blade for snow
pushing, shoveling etc..

The Kawasaki will stay up north at the Lake.

Here are some photo's of the new STEALTH!

Nice brother lol. I just looked at your new brute few weeks back and had one of your pics of it in the woods on my wallpaper. Sheez what do you do for work, two new 07's lol. The largest Polaris dealer in my state is about 30miles south of me named Lee. He had one stealth in the other day when i stopd in to get some air filter oil for my brute. It was nice to go along with the 100 Polaris Rangers he showd me he had in stock lol. Nice man post back on ride impressions. Later -joe

I believe it is the color only.
When visiting the Polaris webpage , you will notice a Limited Edition section in which
shows a selection of this years limited production colors etc..
There are about 5 different ones for this years line-up.
I am not sure how long Polaris has been offering limited edition colors, although
I know that they did offer this in 2006 as well as the new 2007 models.

Thanks,
As for 2 new machines , well it's called debt.
Actually I took advantage of some real good finance plans which
my local dealers had offered. Low payments basically.

Once I ride it in the dirt etc..I will post my thoughts.
Right now though, I can say that the Brute is very much quicker.

Let us know how like the new ride, particularly the ADC--I think we are all wondering how this is going to work out.

The difference is the black plastic and the dual exhaust is black to, plus it has the cast rims, and rear rack extension. So for $400 more then the standard model, it's not a bad deal. It doesn't have the ADC but has the standard EBS.

Three items.

A ~ What sort of price difference in pricetag between the standard model and the LE models?
B ~ Wouldn't black chrome have been more in keeping with the Stealth motif?
And,
C ~ On an unrelated note, has anyone noticed a tendency for 800 Sportsmans to shatter the low side under pressure?

Another guy on here claimed he rode one at a dealership that sold Outtys also. He said it beat his 750 BruteForce in a 150yard drag. He also said they rode the 800 Outty and it only beat the Stealth by about1.5 bike lenghts He said he liked the new Sportsman way better than either one of the other bikes. I am gonna go to a dealership tomorrow that did have a Stealth edition last week. If they haven't sold it yet I am gonna go check it out.

I am kinda up in air trying to decide between this bike the Stealth, and the Outlander 800. I have already ridden an OUtty 800 but only at a dealers lot.

I just look at the 07 parts list and what I saw is they change the clutch spring in the primary. The new spring is the blue/red or part #7043199 this was changed after 8/30/06 for all 800. The old # was 7041157 So clutching can help and make it faster. Also I found that the fuel tank also has a new number. Hopefully it will be bigger. But for only $700 different, the custom would be the way to go.
