I had a dealership rejet my quad when I went to the rocky mountain jamboree in Utah. I am now in Oklahoma and want to change back to the stock main jet. I would like to do it myself to save the money and know how to do it for the next time. I know it is easy because the dealership did it in less then a 1/2 hour. What is the easiest way to get at the main jet. I took the airbox off and I can atleast see the carb. This is my first time dealing with the carb and my maint manual doesn't say anything about it really. Any help would be helpful.

 

if you look up yout trail boss here clicky here and go to the carb section you'l be able to see where in the carb assembly the main jet is and how to get at it.............unscrew the high altitude jet out and then screw in the stock jet in..............of course you will need some mechanical abilities for this but over all its basic..............its more time consuming than it is dificult to task.............and the dealer did it in 30 minutes........
