scambler Oil

Default scambler Oil

I got a 99 scambler 500 4x4 HO going to do a Oil chage on it for the frist time Had dealer do it last year... I got 2 qts of oil and a oil filter... Where is the oil plug drain plug at

Default scambler Oil

one is at the bottom of the side oil tank where u check the oil (left side of
the bike) this is where most of the oil is at. The other is under the skid plate
on the bottom of the motor, this is what drains the rest of the crank case, a
much smaller amount is in there. This is because the scrammy has what is
called a dry sump oil system. U should drain both to get all the oil out.

Ok thanks for the info also is 2 qts enough oil ?

yes 2 qts. with the filter is good.
