I was out riding the other day and i went off of a small single and i landed a little bit sidways and my handlebars almost bent all the way down towards the left and almost into the gas tank.i took it apart and at the top of the stem where the plate is on, that the bars bolt to, the stem was broken almost all the way around.i had my buddy weld it bad together for me and it is a lot stronger now.but i was just wonderin if anyone else experienced the same problem?

 

No! I have bent the hell out of them, but never broke one...........

 

I've broke mine 3x and welded thinkin it was stronger and finding that it broke outside my welds each time, i finally bought a new stem for $120 cdn, i figured it would've been more
