Thinking about getting one. Wondering how your experiance is with them? How do they hold up? Tried the Razor blade?
Thanks

Do you guys use the winch cable for lifting the plow.....or do you have the man. lever lift....thanks ................I heard it is worth the extra money to save on the first few inches on the cable from wearing out...........caper.............

Great question!
I was planning on investing in the Glacier , however was going to use my Polaris winch
to operate it.
Maybe that is not the best route to take though..?

I have been using the Glacier Plow for 3 years for a small plow business I have had the man lift and the little 500lb winch and my main winch. go with the winch either is good just as fast as the man lift once U get used to it I also put the reverse override switch on one of the machines I am going to put it on the other one this year if you plow a lot it is a must

I will definately be using the winch for it. I have used it on my other machines & have not really seen much wear on the first few feet. I of course have the roller fairlead. I was also debating the 56" razor blade rather than the 60" straight. I see now that they have the glacier II which they say will lift higher but is not designed to be as durable. Think I would prefer strength over lift height. Thanks for the input.
