K&N question

Default K&N question

Just got K&N for my 06 Scrambler... do I have to re jet it? This is the only mod I've done.

Depends on how the mixture was with the stock filter. If it was slightly rich then the new filter will lean it out a little. If it was already lean, the you'd want to rejet since the new filter could make it overly lean. Checking the spark plug should give you an indication of where the mixture is at.

No you wont have to rejet with just a filter.

only if you put a pipe on w/ the filter would you rejet.

Default K&N question

I didnt have to rejet with my WB with 8discs and K&N.Plug was still a little black.Now with the HPD airbox mod the plug is perfect.
