Hey everyone, I just bought a 2000 explorer 400 and I think the clutch is setup for sea level. I live at about 6000FT so I was wondering what spring and weights I should put in it to get it's full potential?

Thanks!

Not sure what weights are stock in yours but try going up 2-4 grams.

I always thought that when you went from low elevation to high elevation you were suppose to lighten the weights and stiffen the spring? Does anybody know what jet, weights and primary springs come in the explorer 400?

Thanks
Kris

Just incase anybody wants to know I found out what you need for the 400 at high elevations.

1. 53 Gram weights
2. leave primary spring stock
3. change secondary spring position to 2-1
4. 175 main jet
5. drop needle one slot.
