A while back(at least a month or two) someone asked the same thing, and I think the general concensus was to go with the uni. If I could figure out how to go back more then two weeks I'd find it for ya

Its according to your riding conditions. If you ride in dusty dry weather, the uni is the way to go. The K&N probably flows a tid bit more air though. Filter maintenence; I would say that the uni is a little easier to take care of plus their only about 10-15 bucks. Really, you cant go wrong w/ either one. Just pick one and go!

My opinion/experiences. The Uni will filter finer and heavier dust. It will also go farther between cleanings.
The K&N will flow more air with less restriction, but will need more frequent cleaning, especially in very dusty conditions. Also I have heard, they will allow some extremely fine dust to pass through. This may have more to do with needing more frequent oiling than lack of quality, though.
