broke hawkeye axle
#1
so i got about 5 hrs on my wife's hawkeye and the we got a broke axle boot knuckle and all i think i may have done it my self but not the point my question is will polaris cover this as warranty.
so this is how i think i broke it. I pulled the *** end about 2 feet to the right so i could get my ramps from the corner then i started it and when i was about to load it on the trailer i tried putting the bars straight and they were kinda stuck so without thinking i turned it a lil harder and heard a pop but just thought it was the tire stuck on the plastic well after riding i noticed her front wheel was not turning then notice boot ripped and knuckle just hanging around so we rode for a hr more cuz we were pretty far out rode fine pulled to the right a lil but not bad. Could that have done it.

That's the first front Hawkeye cv I've heard of breaking, some rears have broke but I haven't had any problem yet in 1100 miles. I would certainly think the warranty will cover it, it shouldn't break by turning the wheels unless your hard on the throttle spinning and that wheel grabs solid. There may have been a problem with the joint to begin with, take it to the dealer asap.....

i broke one myself under acc. in a hole and destroyed mine into pieces and the dealer covered it. so if you have a good dealer they might cover it w/ no problem.

Mine had been in the shop for months to replace the broken weak sub-frame. I brought it home only to notice a front CV boot split down the seam. Polaris would not cover it under warranty even though there were no signs of external damage. Is there any place to report the shop to for not fixing my vehicle quicker?
All I want for Christmas is my Hawkeye fixed since it has been in the shop since August and I have only put 33 hours on it....
