What year was concentric drive added?

 

99 i think

 

99 was the first year it was on the Xplorer. That is why I got one, a 99 that is, I was going to get an Xplorer anyway.
I have seen a Scrambler in the fall of 98 with the Concentric drive & shaft to the front, but it may have been one of the first 99s out.

I really like the idea of how it works. I don't think I would want one without it. Now I can rule out pre-'99 models when searching for something used.
