HO performance upgrades

I think my ho needs to have alittle more bottom end power.I have 71 miles on the clock and dont think its quite broken in yet.i have installed as k&n filter but have not checked my jetting yet.(going to do that this weekend)what have you guys found out on the jetting thing with everyone else HO? are they to rich from the fac.? how about changing my clutch weights,would this give me the results im looking for? I deer hunt so i really dont want my engagement rpm to be much higher.any help would be greatly appeciated.thanks guys

how long did ittake for them to rejet it? did they put the high altitude weights in it?

well the stock weights are 48 grams and the high weights are 46 grams.im going to put a set in my HO this next week.

Silverado,
How much work is it to change weights? I live at 2600 and ride to 8000, this sounds like a needed change.

weetoots it sound fairly easy to change those weights out.chopperbill could shed more light on this subject than i could,he already has changed his.I think it just allows the engine to (spin up)more quickly that = more power.lets hear it chopper how easy it it to change.

Well my buddy brought his new RUBICON to covengton pike a local riding spot and we BOTH had stock tires and I out mudded him in evey condition, then he said let RACE~!! Well i said ok and we lined'em up and the HO stomped'em in three runs on blacktop!!! yeaaaa!!! I haven't even checked the jet yet!!!! oh by the way this thing seems to be getting quicker as she gets broke in!! do you boys think i should pull the break in oil out now??? thanks guys.

I swapped the break-in oil after about 10 hours on my non-HO Sportsman.

The HO is the best sp yet!!I love all the improvements over my 99.

well vi checked my jet and guess what? its rich,i need to back off 1 notch.does anyone know the jet # for one notch back?? thanks
