I will always recommend Moose. I gave mine a beating and its still holding up. Definately heavy duty.

For Polaris Stock, I understand that for the Sportsman
it will just plug into the Quad, couple minutes to
install? (I'm asking, I like to buy one too..)

Who does everyone recommend going to
buy Polaris parts and accessories for good
on-line prices and repuditable?

Cheers,

I'm cheap so I made my own for under $200, you can see it in my pictures here if you like, its in the album called Snow Plow. I have modified it since the pics were taken, I added springs to it so I dont fly into the light pod when I would hit a curb and what not....

Very impressive photo album Rubberdown.
Liked your home-grown plow blade, is that
Heavy grade sheet metal?

Also, not thread related sorry, how did you
learn how to snorkel your SP500? I am
looking into doing that with my Sp450.

Thanks,

R'

Glad you like it, as you can see from my albums, I do a fair bit of riding and obviously making my own accesories when possible.

The plow blade is a plastic blade cut from a 4x8 sheet of 1/4" thick plastic. The sheet cost's around $70 Canadian so we get 4 blades that are 4 feet wide so myself and so far 2 other riding buddies all have a plow. the frame or craddle for the blade is made with 1" angle iron that is 1/4" thick. All you need is a chop saw, a jig saw, and a welder and you are in business.

The Snorkle I had installed in Texas at the High Lifter Mud Nationals this past summer. It isnt all that hard to do with some rubber fittings, hoce slamps, pvc pipe and glue and the odd flexable link here or there. If you dive me your e-mail address I have plenty of pictures with the plastics removed to show you how it was routed.

not posting these one-one correspondance

My email is: gbepny@msn.com

Thanks again!
