This summer I am thinking of building a new frame for my Scrambler. It is for fun in my spare time.(if I get in over my head I will get a machine shop to do it)

How much weight could be saved by going to chromoly steel or aluminum? Is it possible? I would keep the same a-arms and swingarm in the rear also. Just the basic frame and bumper...

Someone in here must have weighed there frame before?!?!

Thanks guys
