Default New to the forum with a few questions.....

Hello everyone! Just purchased a 2000 Trail Boss 325. I'm all ears for any advice you guys may have. I have a few questions some of you may be able to answer for me? Is there a front rack made/available for this ATV? If so where may I be able to get it? What are some common problems that I may need to be aware of? ATV was previously owned by family friend so as far as I know it has been pretty well taken care of. Needs new tires though..any recommendations on that? Another question....99% of the time I'll have a rider with me, is there an extended seat or something to that effect that I could buy to make it more comfortable for the passenger? I've looked all over the web for the questions I have asked with no luck so again any info I get will be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from some of you soon!

As for the passenger comfort look here! As for the tires, look here, these are the cheapest that I've found. What kind of riding will you be doing? That info will help with our recommendations of tire type. I am thinking that a slightly more agressive tire than stock will do you just fine. Welcome to the nuttiest place on Earth!

Hello and welcome to the forum. eBay probably is the best way to go to try to find a rack for your machine.
Kimpex also makes a nice storage/cargo box with a seat.

There are hundreds of tires out there. What kind of trails will you be on? Will they have mud, rocks, soft sand, etc. A tire that is a slight improvement over stock is the Titan 589. I have 489s on my stock Sportsman X2 and have gotten through mud/water pits up to the headlights (I don't recommend this) :-) But my rig has all wheel drive. If you are using a 2wd and may encounter mud something more aggressive is needed. The 589s are pretty inexpensive and a good all around tire for the budget minded.

Welcome to the forums.

My 00 Boss has been treated fairly roughly by everyone in our family. Still has had the least problems out of all the ones purchased afterwards.

Thamks for all the info. No luck on EBAY though for a front rack. I'll keep looking. Have a good weekend.
