stupid mistake please help

Default stupid mistake please help

I put the battery on my 1999 polaris sportsman backwards. I know stupid mistake. Know it will start with the switch but no head lights and no awd the reverse light and nuetral light does work. Are their any fuses or relays? any help would realy be apreciated. thanks in advance cooterscars

If I remember correctly it is fuse protected.

Find the fuse and problem solved (I think).

Do you have the Owner's Manual? I remember reading in there somewhere that there is an easy fix.

Default stupid mistake please help

Looks like a really ugly black plastic bag thing. Should be under the seat area. May have to take the plastic off to access it.

Default stupid mistake please help

That fuse looks like a wierd epoxy pack type thing. You have to squeeze it and "feel" for the reset button!
