Default 2000 Trailblazer idle/response Issues

I recently bought a 2000 Trailblazer 250 with 65 hours on it, Im rebuilding the left front suspension due to a collision with a tree, it was in perfect running condition. It sat for about 1 year before I picked it up last week...

I took out the carb, what a mess, it had a layer of carmelized fuel all over the bowl, and on the jets, floats, needle. Everywhere, everything was stuck in place. I took apart the carb, cleaned everything I could see with carb/choke cleaner. Made sure every hole had air going through it, with no blockages to my knowledge, everything looks clean to me.
I bought a new autolite plug, new battery, checked spark, cleaned the stock airfilter with compressed air, and also adjusted the ETC on the bars because it looked to be touching/sparking and would shut off the engine, so I separated them a 1/16th of an inch or so instead of the connections butting up against eachother.

I cant keep her running or running right. Seams to be running hard, or not smooth, like choking/bogging.. I've adjusted the Idle screw, but it does not seam to help, I have also adjusted the air screw about 2-3 turns out, no luck. I have adjusted the choke setting on the carb all the way in and out, and that does not seam to help.
It doesnt seam like its running right, like if you look at the exhaust pipe, it smokes, then not, smokes then not etc.. Like its idling up and down, also, when it is idling up and down, if I hit the throttle it will bog down, then rev up fast, it runs great past idle/10% throttle.... It is also extremely hard to start.

Any ideas, am I missing something?

Sorry for the long post, im new to 2 strokes, this is my first ATV..

Thanks -Jordan

first adjust the slack out of your throttle cable. it is located about 9 inches down the throttle cable housing. that will open the etc switch for you.

turns out it was a clogged piolet jet, I must have missed it when I was cleaning out the carb, along with adjusting the gap of the plug. its running great, starting on first hit, good response as well. I also took all the slop out of the ETC.

Now were talking! Got the parts for the suspension coming on monday or so as well. Thanks for the help!!
