Hi gr8one,

I sent you a private message a few days ago about our bikes. It looks as though we purchased the same bike about the same time. Next time you log in to this forum, look on the right hand side of the webpage. You will probably see that you have a private message. It's from me about MOD's.

As for the Pipe - I found that there are a few different pipes available for our bike but most all threads I read seem to give the White Brothers the best review. FTWFLH has a few post on this forum about it and gives it great reviews. Thanks FLTWFLH!

The problem I had was finding this pipe that fit an 06 Scrambler. The websites and online suppliers do not list this pipe to fit our bikes but do fit the 03's. BUT... I read the specs on the 2003 silencer and the 2006 silencer. They are the exact same part number from Polaris. I have to believe this pipe will fit on our bikes; however, before you go out and buy one you may want to wait for me. My pipe should be in sometime next week and I'm going to install it next weekend. I'll get back to you to let you know the results.

If you're interested in doing the research, I have listed the Pipe I purchased and the supplier.
White Brothers E Series - Part number (05-055) sometimes listed as WB05-055.Purchased from HERE. They had to order the pipe from the factory so it may be a delay. The purchase price including shipping was $247.27.

I'll get back to you on how the pipe fits, etc... Keep me in mind if you do other MOD's. It looks like FLTWFLH recommends the Dalton blk/white primary spring. I'm not quite ready to do this but it's probably in the future.

FLWFLH - Do you mind giving us some info on this clutch spring kit? I don't know alot about clutch springs as I've never done any kind of MOD like that. Most of my experience as been on 2 stroke motorcycles.

How difficult? How much $? Power difference? Torque or Speed? ETC...

Thanks folks!

Dino
The Dalton blk/white has a shift rate of 45-143 it will give you a slightly higher engagment speed ,faster shift out(get to top speed faster) and a little higher top rpm.
Great spring for what you will have until you want to do a complete clutch kit or TEAM roller secondary.
I know a guy that has a used one pm me.

Check your messages. I sent you one. Thanks -

Gr8one & FTWFLH -

Hey guys, I'm not yet interested in the spring at this point. I want to do the pipe, filter in one stage then the spring in another. Gr8one - If you get the spring, let me know how it goes for you.

In the meantime, got a quick question for both of you... Been riding in the mud over the last few days. Got the Scrammy VERY VERY muddy. After washing it a couple of times it runs like !@#$% as if water is getting into the intake, spark plug, gas, etc... I've tried to be very careful but it still runs horribly. After it dries well, it's back to normal. Can you guys give me an idea as to what's going on?

Thanks -
Dino

MAN I've been lookin for that pipe for about a dang year now and haven't found one yet!! They must have started to make them again or something!!

Dino1000 let me know how you like the pipe and how the place was you ordered it from if you would please!

My Scrammy has been stock for far toooooo long!!!

Thanks,
ACE

ps....and for the mud ridin problems..... I've had that same thing happen to me twice as well. Does it studder and feel like what it dows when your in reverse when you don't have the Reverse Override pushed in?? That's what mine was like!! After basically tearing a bunch of the plastics off in the middle of an ORV trail the first time and workin on it for about 2 hours I ended up giving up and was like the heck with it I'm driving it back to the trucks....after about 3 mins on the way back the dang thing started running perfectly again!! Water got somewhere it wasn't supposed to be!!

Just ordered the pipe from Temecula Motor Sports. They don't stock them but said White will make it and I will have it next week when the new Scrambler arrives. Thanx Dino and ftwflh for the info!

You are very welcome.

I found the pipe to be awesome! A little loud but worth the extra torque. Also, I didn't think rejetting was necessary. The Scrammy runs pretty rich stock.

Be careful! If you don't know what I mean... check out my other threads. A friend wrecked and damaged my Scrammy pretty badly! One month old and now VERY USED.

Oh yeah.... And the pipe was trashed. Got to get a new one. Got about 1.5 hours usage out of the pipe before it was wrecked.
