Lost my key, whats a quick option?

I lost my one and only key and I did not write down the code number of it. The ignition on the ATV looks pretty Mickey mouse ,can I just bang a small screw driver in there or something?

Your best bet is to just take it to the dealer, or get a new ignition switch and key, too many low lifes cruise these forums, looking for tips or ideas on how to start a quad without the key. I am not saying that is your case, many of us have lost or misplaced our keys, but why have someone here print out a quick and easy way to bypass the key, the next time you park your quad and take the key and come back to find an empty spot, you would be kicking yourself for putting that info out there. Try a salvage yard, just get a whole switch and key assembly, and replace it, or see what the dealer recommends. Sorry, I did not reply to be a smart a$$ or accuse you, just my .02 $ .

I agree...new ignition will run ya bout $40 at your deal unless you just done care about a key then you could just use a 3 way toggle switch..something with a ground, constant, and a switched...

Well, just open your billfold and get the spare out.
At least that is how I have planned ahead, I had another key made for just in case, had to buy the blank from Polaris dealer ... VERY costly for a blank. I hate propriarity stuff.
Key maker had blanks for older Polaris, but not the '06 X2.
Bite the bullet and fix it right IMHO
