Default SCRAMBLER CONTROL ARMS

THE WELD BROKE ON MY CONTROL ARM YESTERDAY. AFTER INSPECTING IT I NOTICED IT WAS A COLD WELD WITH ZERO PENETRATION (NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT) MY QUESTION IS...... ITS AN 05 CAN I PUT ANY YEAR CONTROL ARM ON THE MACHINE. IM NOT TO CONCERNED WITH THE COLOR SEEING THAT I AM GOING TO REWELD ALL THREE CORNERS. BUT I HAVE SEEN SOME WITH GREESE FITTINGS ON EBAY AND I AM WONDERING WILL THESE FIT MY MACHINE.

Default SCRAMBLER CONTROL ARMS

I have gone through a couple a-arms myself racing hare scrambles. I would suggest getting some a-arm guards, they greatly improve the strength for the scramblers set up I have yet to bend or break any since adding the guards.

as far as to what year on the arms and with or with out out the zerks. I would recomend getting some with the zerks. I believe the years without the zerks the seals on the ends werent that great. The new models 07 etc went back to using zerks on the arms.

thanks for the info rundrave. i did have a set of a arm guards on it from moose (pretty heavy duety) but like i said the weld broke at a spot where if it was welded propely it should not have broke. i won't act like i ride the machine easy but this weld broke clean due to lack of heat!
