Default 2003 predator 500--top or bottom dead center

HI all,
And thanks first: I got a predator motor that I'm putting back together, the motor was in a few 100 pieces. How do you tell if its TDC or BTDC on the timing. I do have a manual but it does'nt say. Any help would be great thanks guys and gals.

Anyone with pics would be a great help also. I'm trying to get the timing in right, it seems that I can turn the motor over 180 degrees for TDC but is it BTDC not sure the piston is on top. On both of them anyone???????

Take the plug out of the timing cover. Look for a line to be in the middle of the hole and you will be at TDC.
