Need help picking right tires for my 06 500...
I am leaning towards the ITP Mudlite line only thing is I have noticed they don't have a 26x8x12 which is what came on my on the front and 26x11x12 on the rears .
Will I have any clearance issues going to a 9" wide front tire and if so what is the proper way to dodge this problem ?
If I run an aftermarket wheel how much wider is the total width of the 4 wheeler gonna be since it is already tight going through the woods in stock form ?
thanks guys gotta make a choice in the next couple days so I can hit the trails this weekend

9 inch wide will fit with no rubbing on the tie rod at all. I have the Mudlight XT's on my 02 500 HO and they work great. Good in the mud and ride real nice on the trails. The 589"s are good in the mud but ride ruff on the hard packed trails. Both tires with there aggressive treads will cause you to lose some top end speed as well. I lost about 5 miles per hour but got 2 of them back when I installed a EPI clutch kit. The clutch kit is a must I think when installing a bigger or more agressive tire package. I hope this helps.

I run the 589's in back, and the Mud Lite XL's in front-easier on steering with great traction in back. Buddy runs 589's all around and fights steering more that I do, also on a different machine-Yamaha. This is mostly trail riding with mud holes here and there.
