Default snow plow install help

Hi bought a used sportsman 500 (1997) and it came with a snow plow but not installed on it. The guy that I bought it from doesn't have any instructions and doesn't remember how to install it (his son apparently bought the plow). I get where the push tubes connect under the bike (mounting plate is still on) my problem is with the lift. It is a Moose plow and EZ lift. My problem is installing the lift. From photos that I have seen of the EZ lift it mounts to the rack, but how. The hardware that I have is 3 sets of U bolts and small square plates( I guess these are for mounting the lift to the rack) and then there is a metal piece ( about 12 inches long) that runs down from the part of the lift that runs down the wheel fareing and to the foot plate...how is it secured to that? There are 2 pieces of metal with bolts that I am guessing is for this part.
I have called area dealers but no one knows because it is an older model EZ lift. I have also tried to contact Moose, but there is no number to call and I have left an email for the "tech guy" but haven't heard back.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of lift? Or anyone have a set of instructions or even a way to get in contact with Moose? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Brian

Do you have a winch on the bike? If so that would be the easiest way to do it.

I had an '02 sportsman with a polaris plow on it. I needed to take the factory plate off of the front of the grill/brush guard on the bottom. And replace it with the plate provided with the plow.

I don't have a winch yet. If I could figure out how to attach photo's I would show what type of lift and hardware that I have.
