I have an '05 Predator 50, and my little guy loves it. He is 5 yrs old, and the footboards fit him perfect. The thing is peppy, but hits the limiter very quick. We bouth in Oct. '05, and have never had any problems with it.
$1200 would be a steal if brand new, probably a pretty fair price used if in good condition.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays,

The '05 has removable raised floor boards, about 2"-3" adjustment. My 7 yr old daughter can still ride it very easily, she is not a little girly girl (lol), she likes to race and get muddy. She rides the '01 scrambler which is a bigger framed bike. My son is an average sized boy, ~45 lbs, he should be good to go for another couple of years (8 or so). One thing with these little quads, is that you can recoup alot of the money back when you sell them.
Hope this helps
