06 SP not idleing???
#1
He all,
My brother and I went a couple weeks ago and each got 2006 SP 500 EFI's. They are identical except the color. We went riding last friday night and my brother noticed his wouldn't stay running. He told us he put gas in it that was from April of this year. So we dumped that out and put some new gas in it. It seemed to run better but still won't idle. Is there a way to adjust the throttle cable on this or should he take it to a dealer and tell them to fix it. Oh and how many oil changes would it take to get all the condensation out of the oil b/c he also flipped it over in a small ditch filled with water the same night.

until the oil is longer discolored from the water. if its an efi you cant change the idle w/out a dealer. the cable adjustment isnt for adjusting the idle.
