Default mud ride - 800 is now dead

When I tried to unload the quad 45 minutes after the ride it would not start. With a jump box the dash will turn on but when the starter is engaged it all goes dead again. No turning over or clicking or anything.
Have any of you guys had this happen? I don't know if mud killed the battery or if I got mud in a connection or if I snagged some wiring while riding.. I would think if I did snag some wires it would have died on the spot.

sounds like a lose connection or bad battery, Try another battery don't sound like anything major.

I too think it sounds like a loose terminal connection on the battery.

if you would has loose total electrical power from battery it would have died right on the spot. they have to have a good 12 volts to start and run with. i agree sounds like a battery connection problem or loose starter wire.

It was just a loose batery cable. I over thought it because of the ride I was on!
