Default 03 Sportsman 500 fluid changes

I have 43 hrs. and about 430 miles on my 2003 Sportsman 500 h.o. I have neglected to do some of the maintenance and now with the idea of selling this unit, I want to take care of these things . I looked through the owners manual and now I have a few questions. My first problem is a slow oil leak from the resevoir, which I believe could be that the insert that the plug screws into is loose. To fix this I know nothing else to do but replace the tank. I would like to put one in that is a little more durable than the plastic. Anybody know if there are any other options available?

The manual states that the brake fluid and the gear shift box fluid be changed every 2 years. Has anyone done this and would you recommend that I do so? Also says replace front hub fluid every year? Is it correct to take tire off and remove set screw and rotate to 6 o'clock position to drain fluid?

The manual mentions a Visco drive which I am not familiar with??? Also the rear crankcase fluid, is that the same as transmission fluid?

Your help is greatly appreciated.
