Default cv boots

I know there are folkes here that have had to replace their cv boots. Anyone use after-market cv boots that are made of thicker rubber than the stock ones ??

where do you buy them ?? What do they cost ??

The reason I asked the question is, my friend has big time boot problems on his 600. He went to an automotive place that rebuilds cv axles for autos & bought his boots for $10.00 ea with bands & grease. Polasris boots are $20?? ea. These boots are made of heaver rubber than polaris oem boots. He says he'll let me know how well they hold up.

We all have the protectors ,but when in reverse in the mud / rocks there is no protection. I don't know of any protectors that are made for the back side as well as the front side of the cv joint.

i believe oxlite makes a set that protects the front and rear.if not you could easily make a add on for the rear out of alluminum or plastic 55 gallon barrel.
