If nothing comes on, and the battery is good, then you start at the battery connects and main grounds. Next would be the ignition switch ( or wherever the power splits up). I wouldn't think it the solenoid. If it started once and thing acted weird, then I would look for a bad connection. Its all a guess without the proper tools.

Interesting. A friend of mine just had this exact thing happen on his 03 600. We changed the battery and even swapped the ignition switch out of my 04 600 and it still wouldn't start. No lights or anything. We even tried a new voltage regulator. To my knowledge, it still isn't running. BTW, there are more of those little black bags under the front hood panel.
