I have a 2003 polaris 600.It has run with no problems all hunting season.I bought a new battery last year.Today I tried to crank it and it wouldn't turn over or click.I left and returned and it started,but no digital screen.Well I let it run for a while and the screen lit up and
the battery symbol was blinking.I tried charging the battery and the charger said it was hot.The thing not clicking or the screen not coming on really has me stumped.Any ideas ?

 

You may have a bad ground..............or .....just check the voltage output when off and then when running
This should tell you if the battery is being charged!!!.....Caper....

 

It will not start to check anything.

If it will not start check the voltage at the battery.....first
You may have a dead short
You may have a bad or loose ground
You may have a fuse or fusable link gone

The do not know where of if there is a fuse.....Caper.....

 

fuses are in those little black bags, i think they are a circuit breaker tho.

i think that your battery is shot. is it a sealed bat?

 

No power anywhere.The battery is only a yr old.Battery charger says battery is hot.Where would the fuses or circuit breaker be located ?
