Default 2000 scrambler 500 trans removal ?

First off the service manual has been ordered but not arrived.

Does the left side swing arm bolt have to come out?
Whats easiest way to get the front drive shaft off the trans? Does the front gear box ***. have to come off?
Thanks CB

The left swing arm bolt does not have to come out all the way. You do have to loosen the bolt because it helps hold the tranny in place. Once you get the tranny unbolted from the frame you can lift the tranny up and the shaft will slide off the tranny shaft. If you have any other issues give me a yell. I have had mine out a few times.........just look at my pics........ damn chain broke.
